ARTIST STATEMENT
for loretta. my great aunt had a book she used to log all the minnesota state parks she visited. she was able to venture to all and almost twice over. this poster is in dedication to her adventurous spirit, transition of seasons and a minneapolis parks directory. an art print and/or an interactive piece to cross off all the parks you have explored.
WHAT IS A SCREEN PRINT?
Screen printing or silk screening is a traditional printing technique where a squeegee is used to press ink through a screen stencil, one print at a time. From beginning to end, it can be a laborious process but an art-form that allows a true piece of handcrafted art to be crafted.
